Plum fruit seedlings of the Čačak native variety is the variety that experts say is the best of all created at the Čačak Institute of Fruit Growing. It belongs to the newer species, and its “parents” are its moths and burners. It participates in nursery production with 18%, and is successfully grown in orchards throughout Europe. At the end of August, dark blue, egg-shaped fruits with an aromatic smell and good quality, weighing about 30 grams, ripen. The flesh of the ripe fruit is yellowish in color, firm, juicy and very sweet. Regular and abundant yields have made this variety extremely grateful for cultivation.
