The variety was created by M. Palieri in Velletra by crossing the varieties l’Alphonse Lavallée and Red Malaga.
Cluster large, cylindrical – pyramidal, winged, quite loose, medium weight 800 g, grain quite large, oval or flat, medium resistant, skin with abundant mask, black – purple color, juicy flesh, taste sweet, neutral, seeds average 2. per berry, average grain weight 9-10 gr., sugar content 14-15%, total acidity 6o / oo pH 3.35.
