RED, BLACK CURRANT
Black currant (Titanium) seedlings are woody plants that grow bushy to a height of about 2 meters. They can be shaped by cutting, it is recommended to shorten the seedlings to 15 cm before planting in order to strengthen and branch them, and leave 6 to 8 strongest shoots the following year. Currant seedlings release shallow roots, so deep and frequent cultivation around the roots is not desirable. The fruits are slightly acidic in size from 5 to 7 mm. The fruit is very rich in vitamin C, and is an excellent antioxidant. The fruit gives after three years, ripens in mid-June. Planting density 3 m x 1 m.
