As for the general part of the vine scion, the process consists of joining two parts of the plant - the rootstock and the scion. The rootstock is the part of the plant that provides stability and nourishment, while the scion is the part of the plant that carries the desired vine variety. These parts are joined so that the coil fits into the substrate and then tied to ensure that they successfully integrate and grow together.
